Management

- Regular skin checks and advice – This can be done twice a year on average.
- Proactive treatment of precancerous lesions aimed to stop skin cancer from developing. Non-surgical methods like cryotherapy, creams and photodynamic therapy are the usual process involved.

Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
PDT is used mainly to treat Actinic Keratosis which is a precancerous condition that leads to the majority of SCCs and BCCs, the two most common skin cancers in Australia.
It can also lead to a smoother and healthier looking skin as a part of the process.
