- Workcover injuries and follow-ups – Our Doctors are experienced and understanding when liaising with our patients and clients regularly concerning WorkCover consultations. With optimum patient care, we also assist patients with rehabilitation to return to some form of work at the earliest opportunity.
- Health assessments – Our team of allied health professionals can provide health assessments for a wide range of patients. This includes preventive health actions and strategies emphasising directed and prescribed sensible lifestyle modifications and medical interventions that are the cornerstone to prevent chronic diseases or complications.
- Pre-employment medical assessments - Our experienced doctors can provide tailored assessments for specific fitness requirements of a job, as well as provide professional recommendations. Whether it is for pre-employment screening or tailored pre-employment functional assessments, we can cater to your organisation's pre-employment screening needs.
- Chronic disease management - Preparation of care plans for prevention of complications along with the arrangements for multidisciplinary care tailored to the patient's needs.
- Immunisations – We provide childhood immunisations as per the current government schedule. Most travel immunisations and immunisations required for some specific types of employment or study purposes are also available. Please give us advanced notification for your immunisation appointment and remember to bring your child’s Childhood Immunisation Book on the day of appointment.
- Mental health care plans - We view the patient as a whole and consider the undeniable relationship between a patient's mental health and physical health.
- Management of common acute care conditions in primary care
- Venesection (blood removal) for patients with haemochromatosis (blood iron overload) or Polycythemia (too many red cells)
- Women’s Health - Women’s health services include annual health checks, breast examinations, contraception (including Implanon insertion/removal and Mirena insertion/removal), Fertility , Mental Health, Antenatal and Postnatal care, Menopause, Pap tests, Menstrual concerns, Sexual health, vaccinations and weight management.
- Children’s Health - A comprehensive range of children’s medical services, including baby well checks, feeding, fussiness or sleeping issues, vaccinations, allergies and eczema concerns, asthma and respiratory issues, recurrent ear infections, general developmental (including growth, weight, hearing, visual, behaviour, speech, weight management, nutritional assessments and skin (including acne).

- Senior’s Health - At OceanMed Family practice we are proud to offer practitioners with vast expertise and interest in the management of Chronic diseases and senior’s health.

Home Visits
We provide home visits to our patients within 3Km radius from our clinic
such visits are offered at the Doctors discretion and a fee may be payable.
Allied Health
The Clinics work in alignment with on-site and Off-site Allied Health professionals and offer additional services including occupational therapy, speech therapy, podiatry, physiotherapy, psychology and dietetics.
QML Pathology On site
The Clinic is located in Helensvale and works closely with local specialists and the Gold Coast University Hospital. It offers family friendly facilities such as a private breast feeding areas, baby change facilities and children’s play area.
Appointments at your convenience, providing availability with male or female doctors.
